Signal Ridge Phase IV Lifestyle

Completed in 2000, Phase IV of Signal Ridge is located on the banks of Lake Ray Hubbard about 15 miles east of Dallas in beautiful Rockwall, Texas.  Phase IV is comprised of seven buildings, five of which are situated on lake front property, encompassing a total of 66 condominium units. 

The area is growing.  Rockwall's landmark harbor construction project, currently underway, has added a new 12-screen cinema and an ice cream shop with more to come, including:  an upscale full service hotel and civic center, shops and restaurants, and offices. The City of Rockwall also plans to construct public boardwalks, fountains, plazas, pedestrian walkways and other amenities.

Lake Ray Hubbard
About fifteen miles east of Dallas sits beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard, a freshwater lake located on the East Fork of the Trinity River in the Trinity River basin.  The dam is owned by the City of Dallas. Interstate 30 bisects the lake. The lake was named after a living person: Ray Hubbard who presided over the Dallas Parks and Recreation System board from 1943 to 1972. 

Originally designed to provide water to Dallas, the project was started in 1964. The lake was impounded in 1968, and a 2-mile earthfill dam was completed in 1969. By 1970 the lake reached its maximum design extent.   It measures 22,745 acres (92 km²) in size with a storage capacity of 490,000 acre-feet and a maximum depth of 40 feet.  The crest of the spillway is 409.5 feet above mean sea level, and the conservation storage capacity is 490,000 acre-feet with a surface area of 22,745 acres. The drainage area above the dam is about 1,074 square miles.

Lake Ray Hubbard features lakeside marinas, recreation areas, camps, and leisure home sites. The fishing and boating are excellent. The lake contains a large population of hybrid striped bass, white bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish, blue catfish, and white crappie. Several areas of the lake have been infested with hydrilla.

Rockwall, Texas
Founded in 1854, the city of Rockwall became the seat of Rockwall County (the smallest county in Texas) in 1874. Rockwall was named for a subterranean rock formation that has been the subject of study for years. Although there has been speculation the wall was built by prehistoric man, geologists believe the phenomenon is a finger of the Balcones Fault with the "wall" formed when geologic stress split the formation. A scenic golf course is located near Lake Ray Hubbard.

Signal Ridge Phase IV The Home Owners' Association
The Home Owners'  Association is managed by AMGI based on the covenants, code, and regulations of the Association.  The Board of Directors meets regularly to review the By-laws and manage the home owners' association budget.
